A self-taught artist, I have been drawing and painting since I was a young girl. My strong use of graphite and colored pencil, mastering portraiture over the years, was the solid foundation I needed to create realistic wildlife art in acrylics. I also venture into pet portraiture and fantasy art, depending on where my creativity takes me.
I live in the Southeastern United States with my husband and son, and pull from the natural beauty that surrounds me here at the foot of the Appalachians, though backyard wildlife is often my favorite subject matter.

Hello, Tomara! Your work is amazing–and I am thrilled more than I can tell you that I won the auction for a piece of your from the Angels of Life auction for Three 13 Salon. I look forward to working with you to complete a once in a lifetime portrait. I am not sure what the timeline looks like–but I would like to discuss with you the options available.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
